Youth Manifesto Activism and Peaceful Election Campaigns

In 2023, FOSDA and Youth focused CSOs developed and launched the Ghana Youth Manifesto for Elections 2024 and beyond. The manifesto contains issues affecting young people in Ghana and 43 recommendations for addressing them. The manifesto serves as a reference point for advocacy and monitoring progress on youth development; promote adoption and integration at the district level; amplify youth voice and engaging duty bearers.

FOSDA is currently implementing OXFAM - DANIDA SP II project under its outcome area to contribute to an inclusive, accountable and peaceful democratic societies in Ghana and West Africa. To this end, FOSDA is inviting innovative ideas to popularize the Ghana Youth Manifesto and use the Ghana Youth Manifesto as a source material to promote peaceful elections

Your Task:
Develop an innovative approach to popularize the Ghana Youth Manifesto whiles campaigning for peaceful elections

What is at stake:
Six (6) youth groups/networks will be funded with GHC 5,000 to implement their innovative solution
FOSDA will hold an information session to provide further details and clarify issues for interested youth networks/groups on Thursday 30th May, 2024. The time is 12:30noon. Venue is online https://meet.google.com/cuo-vowq-gnn

How to participate
Submit a concept on your understanding of the task; strategy or plan to perform the task including timelines and the group/network's track record in same or similar task.
Your concept should not be more than 3 pages
You may be invited to an engagement session to clarify your innovation if successful

The concept should be submitted to research@fosda.org by Thursday 20th June, 2024 latest by 23:59GMT. The name of the youth group and title of the innovation should be the subject of the email. An example is kofigroup—InnovationABC
